The first thing anyone tuning will see is Dante fiddling with his pokegear, unsure of exactly how to get it to work. He doesn't realize that he actually turned on the video feed, but tosses it over to a green scythed pokemon who fumbles about with it before actually being able to hold it...somehow.

And with the camera following Dante, anyone will see that, while speaking pretty calmly, this guy is pissed off. Kicking the door to Elm's lab open [which didn't get flung off of their hinges, making Dante even more upset], this guy proceeds to antagonize Elm and all of the scientists in there.)

Who the hell taught you guys how to throw a party? Bringing your guests over and stealing all of their shit? You do realize that means I have to kick all of your asses, right?

(And of course, squishy scientists can't fight back, but Dante knows better than to attack them outright. Still, he's punching things and flipping tables to help relieve his anger while his scyther can only watch from a distance. Scary man can be scary.)

So where the hell's all my stuff? Tell me now and I'll make sure to leave you enough teeth to chew.

It's not really much of a party, and unfortunately for you the men you are interrogating have nothing to do with your appearance and, therefore, your belongings.

(Okay, that couldn't have been the green thing following him around; Dante learned that its speech was pretty limited. Thankfully, it didn't take him long to realize it came from his pokegear.)

I'm just angry about my stuff being gone; my appearance is just fine.

[[A quirk of her brow. That's a first.]] Either way, no matter what you do to those poor men they can't assist you in retrieving your things. If they're not on your person, they remained wherever it is that you came from.

I had my guns and sword on me before I got dragged here. Do they just take everything from you to get a laugh at a few people?

Ah, weapons. I always forget those. Your weapon have, essentially, been replaced by some manner of Pokemon. Of course, it's ill-advised to use them against other people unless strictly in self-defense unless you enjoy provoking the law, however that is the situation.

As for whether or not people are laughing I can't say. The people who observe newcomers might, but nobody has ever met whatever it is that you here so who knows if they may or may not be getting a few chuckles out of this.

(And without the strength to rip through handcuffs like he could before, getting arrested would be a lot harder on Dante here than at home...dammit.)

And I'm guessing everyone will want their...pokemon, to battle other people with pokemon?

Well if they're watching, I bet they're getting plenty of laughs out of it; might as well make it the full "hangover after a night in Vegas" experience.

That's generally the idea, though hardly required. It gives you something to do while you're stuck here, however. And...wouldn't that require being hung over?

There's a difference between being drunk and being hung over and you seem to be operating far too well to be the latter. I could be wrong but I still have my doubts.

Since my head's not killing me and I'm not proposing to things in my closet again, I think I'm pretty good to go.

Then again, maybe a drink could help make this all seem believable.

Whether it will or won't, you won't find anything in New Bark town, so partaking in a drink likely isn't happening if you stay there. Cherrygrove however, the next city over, has a store.

I figured as much; this place is too damn boring to even have a beer.

Three days, give or take. Depending on how fast you are and how awful Johto's weather is.

I got a chance at alcohol motivating me, so I don't think it'll take me too long to get there.

What, is something wrong with the weather, too? The rain's not fuzzy and wide-eyed too, is it?

[[Chuckling, she shakes her head.]] No, the weather in that respect is quite normal. It's simply that Johto enjoys subjecting us to extremes. Blizzards capable of making it impossible to see more than a foot ahead of you, torrential downpours that cause awful flooding, etcetera. The weather lately has been rather fine for traveling if you like heat so you shouldn't run into any troubles.

(Dante seems relieved after hearing that.)

Good.; I can handle weather like that. What I can't handle is everything looking like it's watching me.
