Functional Age: Definitely an older adult. Haven't decided on an age, but he was at least a dragonet by the time the war started.

Canon Name/OC: Devil May Cry
Tribe: There's a lot of red vs blue between Dante and his twin brother, Vergil, so had to go with a Skywing/icewing hybrid. Seawing could've provided more actual blue but icewing feels more appropriate.
Personality:

• Fun loving - As mentioned earlier, Raptor learned to laugh and enjoy himself and the things around him, even when his life tried to punish his very existence. He can always make room for a wise crack or a silly joke no matter how dire the situation. What can look like being playful to his friends can be seen as annoying to his enemies. He knows this and he uses this.

• Stylish - Whether it's from years of practice or traces of his animus lineage, Raptor often incorporates a stylish flair into anything he does, no matter how physically impossible it would otherwise look. This offers no additional powers whatsoever and typically the Skywing showing off to others.

• Knowledgeable - It may be hard to believe a bumbling buffoon could know how to do anything besides run his mouth, but his travels across Pyrrhia, whether he was exploring the world or interacting with other tribes (sometimes violently, if they provoked him), have filled his head with all sorts of facts. There's just no fun in being the smart guy all the time!

• Caring - Despite his devil may care attitude, Raptor is a big softie. He cares a lot. It's happened plenty of times where he'll take a request from someone and not request payment when they can't afford him. As much as he wants people to like him and friends he can be around, he knows befriending him can paint a target on their backs as well as his.

• Composed - Raptor's been through a lot. He knows how to keep his cool through any situation. Even if he's not stopping to make jokes, it's very rare to see Raptor enter an outrage or let his softer side show. It's definitely there, but more often than not, he keeps it to himself.

AU History/Background: Some time before the war of Sandwing Succession, the Skywing named Temperance met an Icewing animus prince named Permafrost. Despite any initial scuffles and despite knowing their tribes would never accept their union, they fell in love and bore eggs. From one of those eggs hatched Raptor. For the first few years, they managed well enough, but Temperance and Permafrost were caught by their respective tribes. When both refused to reveal where their children hid, they were presumably killed. Raptor was forced to live on his own since then.

He learned to survive on his own and explored Pyrrhia while Icewings and Skywings alike either wanted nothing to do with him or wanted him dead. It varied, but one thing was certain: Icewing royals were never pleased to explain why a Skywing name sits at the bottom of the Seventh Circle. Despite such a harsh life, he learned how to enjoy himself and poke fun at things. A life of survival and travel meant learning a wide array of skills and knowledge that he'd loan to others for a little coin, even during the war. Once the Skywings and Sandwings arranged a truce, he set up base in the town of Possibility, to the dismay of his tribe. When Jade Mountain Academy opened up, it meant an opportunity to not only share some of his wisdom, but also the opportunity to teach younglings the tolerance he never received.

Additional Notes: As a hybrid, Raptor looks like a Skywing with Icewing features. His eyes are naturally blue and he has white spikes going down his spine.
